Berkeley House in Lewes, East Sussex
Under the same ownership since opening in
1988, Berkeley House is a late Georgian Townhouse (c. 1820),
with three guest bedrooms, each individually furnished and decorated.
All rooms have private shower and toilet,
tea and coffee trays and colour T.V.
A full-menu breakfast
is included in our room rates, and an intimate lounge is available
for relaxation. Berkeley House also has a roof terrace
with views over the town to the South Downs.
Wi-Fi internet connection is provided free for guests
Smoking is permitted outside on the roof terrace but nowhere else in the building.
Our aim is to provide a high level of service
in a restful setting, and we are proud to have been selected
for inclusion by The Good Hotel Guide every year since 1996.
We are in the 2008 Good Hotel Guide, have a Four Stars rating from the Tourist Board, and were chosen by the Guardian newspaper as one of
